אָזוֹן תֵּחָן וְהַסְכֵּת עֲתִירָה, אַף
הָפֵר וְשַׁכֵּךְ עֶבְרָה, בָּאֵי
לַחֲלוֹתְךָ בְּנֶפֶשׁ מָרָה, בְּשִׁמְךָ
הַגָּדוֹל יִמְצְאוּ עֶזְרָה:
גְּעִיַּת נֶאֱנָחִים עַנְוָתָם חֲזֵה,
גְּחִינַת קוֹמָתָם נָא אַל תִּבְזֶה, דְּרוֹשׁ
עֶלְבּוֹנָם מִצַּר וּבוֹזֶה, דְּרוֹךְ פּוּרָה
וְנִצְחָם יֶזֶה:
הֲלֹא אַתָּה הָיִיתָ וְהִנֶּךָ, הֱיֵה תִּהְיֶה
בַּהֲדַר גְּאוֹנֶךָ, וְנִמֵּת יִכּוֹן זֶרַע אֲמוּנֶיךָ,
וְהָגֵם כֵּלִים מִתִּגְרַת חֲרוֹנֶךָ:
זוֹעֲמוּ בְעִוּיִם וּמִמְּאוּיִים נִסָּחוּ,
זֹרוּ בְאַפְסַיִם וְלֹא נָחוּ, חָבְלָה
רוּחָם וְלֶעָפָר שָׁחוּ, חָרְשׁוּ חוֹרְשִׁים
וּמַעֲנִית הִמְתִּיחוּ:
טָבְעוּ בַבֹּץ וְאֵין פּוֹצֶה,
טוֹרְפֵיהֶם שָׁלּוּ מִקָּצֶה אֶל קָצֶה,
יוֹם יוֹם לוֹחֲמָם מְנַצֵּחַ, יָד פּוֹרְשִׁים
מִלַּחַץ לָצֵאת:
כָּלוּ חַיֵּיהֶם בְּיָגוֹן וַאֲנָחָה, כּוֹשֵׁל
רָבָה וְעָרְבָה שִׂמְחָה, לְיֵשַׁע חוֹכִים
וְהִנֵּה צְוָחָה, לְבַטּוֹם קָמִים וְכָרוּ
שׁוּחָה:
מַעֲרִימִים סוֹד מִמְּךָ לְהַדִּיחָם,

עוֹשְׁקֵיהֶם יַקְנִיאוּם וְנִתְּנוּם לִשְׁסוֹף,
עוֹעִים יִמָּסְכוּ וְיִהְיוּ לִסְפוֹף:
פְּדֵה דְבֵקֶיךָ מֵחֶרֶץ וְכִלּוּי,
פַּלְּטֵם מִצּוֹרֵר וְתָגֵם לַעֲלוּי, צַוֵּה
יְשׁוּעוֹת מְשַׁחֲרֶיךָ בַּחֲלוּי, צוּר
עוֹלָמִים הוֹשִׁיעֵנוּ בְּגִלּוּי:
קַנּוֹא וְנַקֵּם קַנֵּא לִשְׁמֶךָ, קַצֵּץ
עֹלָם מִצַּוַּאר עַמֶּךָ, רְאֵה עֲמָלֵנוּ וְשׁוּב
מִזַּעְמֶךָ, רִיבָה רִיבֵנוּ מֵעִם חֶרְמֶךָ:

Grant ear, be gracious and attend to prayer; also annul and calm wrath.
