Incline, my God, Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our desolations, and the city upon which Your Name is called. For not upon our righteousness do we cast our supplications before You, but upon Your abundant mercies. A public fast they have established—demand needs; again search toward You; examine ways; soft to be appeased with the thirteen attributes, hard to anger, granting long forbearance: Your flanks are adorned with ornaments You will not strip off; the glory of the mercies and the pardons is a splendid jewel, a crown of perfect praise; and prayer You will adorn, the order of life and sustenance for the creatures You will extend: The capital is blocked up and the pure table emptied; He who sustains pushes aside the concealment from the service of worship; for the outpourings of the soul consider as a small dish, as one who crowns and satisfies—Redeemer, Healer, and Forgiver: It is fitting for You, because from Your portion she is sustained, the goodness of Your spirit that she be nourished and provided for; in exchange she is asked of You, she who complains and is distinguished; remember her anxieties before You, she who is corrupted and gathered in: And to You she is cast, and in You she takes refuge; remove her calamities—who is like You, mighty Yah—according to the way of Your faithfulness, in Your portion for Your legion, Apsanya; bestow kindness upon this afflicted one, the sojourner: Experts and those who set aright to appease You with sweet words—gone, vanished is the power of the confusing accuser; lovers of the Father in heaven, the diligent ones, confuse [the prosecutors]; those who revere the words of His law are black yet sweet: We have sanctified a fast of infants and elders of assemblies; we have set right song and prayer; we have been diligent with additions; withhold below from iniquity and establish our peace; raise the poor from the dust and the needy from the dunghill: In the order of ascent and with proper attributes of elevations, prepare us; set for good the One who dwells on high; and in a pure mikveh wash away the light and the lofty; find our prayer to be kindness for the glorification of Your majesty:

God, King Who sits upon the throne of mercy, and acts with lovingkindness, Who pardons the iniquities of His people, removing them one by one, Who abounds in forgiveness for sinners and pardon for transgressors, Who performs acts of righteousness with all flesh and spirit—not according to their wickedness does He requite them. God, You taught us to recite the Thirteen Attributes; remember for us today the covenant of the Thirteen Attributes, as You made known to the humble one of old, as it is written: And the Lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and He proclaimed the Name of the Lord:
The following, until וְנַחַלְתָּנוּ, is recited only when praying with a minyan.
