the Testimony, Aaron and his sons shall set it up from evening to morning before the Lord—a statute forever for their generations on behalf of the children of Israel. And you, bring near to yourself Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, to serve Me as priests: Aaron, Nadav and Avihu, Elazar and Itamar, the sons of Aaron. You shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for splendor. And you shall speak to all the wise of heart, whom I have filled with a spirit of wisdom, and they shall make Aaron's garments to sanctify him to serve Me as priest. And these are the garments that they shall make: a breastpiece, an ephod, a robe, a fringed tunic, a turban, and a sash; and they shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother and for his sons, to serve Me as priests. And they shall take the gold, and the blue, and the purple, and the crimson yarn, and the fine linen.

And of the 1,775 shekels he made hooks for the posts, overlaid their tops, and banded them. The copper from the elevation offering came to 70 talents and 2,400 shekels. Of it he made the sockets for the entrance of the Tent of Meeting; the copper altar and its copper grating and all the utensils of the altar; the sockets of the court all around and the sockets of the gate of the court; and all the pegs of the Tabernacle and all the pegs of the court all around. Of the blue, purple, and crimson yarns they also made the service vestments for officiating in the sanctuary; they made Aaron's sacral vestments—as the Lord had commanded Moses.

The Lord called to Moses and spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting, saying: Speak to the children of Israel and say to them: When any of you presents an offering of cattle to the Lord, he shall choose his offering from the herd or from the flock. If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall make his offering a male without blemish. He shall bring it to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, for acceptance in his behalf before the Lord. He shall lay his hand upon the head of the burnt offering, that it may be acceptable in his behalf, to make expiation for him.
