And he shall slaughter the young bull before the Lord, and Aaron's sons the priests shall bring the blood and dash the blood around upon the altar that is at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting. And he shall flay the burnt offering and cut it into its pieces. And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar and arrange wood upon the fire. And Aaron's sons the priests shall arrange the pieces, the head, and the suet, upon the wood that is on the fire that is on the altar. And its entrails and its legs he shall wash with water, and the priest shall turn the whole into smoke on the altar as a burnt offering, a fire-offering of pleasing aroma to the Lord.

And if his offering is from the flock, of the sheep or of the goats, for a burnt offering, he shall bring it a male without blemish. And he shall slaughter it on the north side of the altar before the Lord, and Aaron's sons the priests shall dash its blood around upon the altar. And he shall cut it into its pieces, with its head and its suet, and the priest shall arrange them upon the wood that is on the fire that is on the altar. And the entrails and the legs he shall wash with water, and the priest shall bring near the whole and turn it into smoke on the altar; it is a burnt offering, a fire-offering of pleasing aroma to the Lord.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Command Aaron and his sons, saying: This is the law of the burnt offering. It is the burnt offering that stays on the flame upon the altar all night until the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning on it. And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and linen breeches he shall put on his flesh, and he shall take up the ashes to which the fire has reduced the burnt offering on the altar, and place them beside the altar.

And he shall take off his garments and put on other garments, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a pure place. And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not go out, and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and he shall arrange the burnt offering upon it and turn into smoke upon it the fats of the peace offerings. A continual fire shall be kept burning upon the altar; it shall not go out.

And this is the law of the meal offering: the sons of Aaron shall bring it near before the Lord, in front of the altar. And he shall take up from it in his handful some of the fine flour of the meal offering and of its oil, and all the frankincense that is on the meal offering, and he shall turn into smoke on the altar a pleasing aroma, its memorial portion, to the Lord. And what is left of it Aaron and his sons shall eat; unleavened it shall be eaten in a holy place; in the courtyard of the Tent of Meeting they shall eat it. It shall not be baked with leaven; I have given it as their portion of My fire-offerings; it is most holy, like the sin offering and like the guilt offering. Every male among the sons of Aaron may eat of it, an everlasting statute throughout your generations from the fire-offerings of the Lord; whatever touches them shall become holy.

And it was on the eighth day that Moses called to Aaron and to his sons and to the elders of Israel. And he said to Aaron: Take for yourself a calf of the herd for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and bring them near before the Lord. And to the children of Israel you shall speak, saying: Take a goat of the goats for a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, yearlings, without blemish, for a burnt offering; and an ox and a ram for peace offerings, to slaughter before the Lord, and a meal offering mixed with oil—for today the Lord will appear to you. And they took what Moses had commanded to the front of the Tent of Meeting, and the whole congregation drew near and stood before the Lord. And Moses said: This is the thing that the Lord has commanded that you do, that the glory of the Lord may appear to you.

And Aaron drew near to the altar and slaughtered the calf of the sin offering that was his. And Aaron's sons brought the blood to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar, and the blood he poured out at the base of the altar. And the fat and the kidneys and the appendage from the liver of the sin offering he turned into smoke on the altar, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

And the flesh and the hide he burned with fire outside the camp. And he slaughtered the burnt offering, and Aaron's sons presented to him the blood, and he dashed it around upon the altar. And the burnt offering they presented to him in its pieces and the head, and he turned them into smoke on the altar. And he washed the entrails and the legs and turned them into smoke upon the burnt offering on the altar. And he brought near the people's offering, and he took the goat of the sin offering that was for the people and slaughtered it and made it a sin offering, like the first. And he brought near the burnt offering and performed it according to the rule.

וּשְׁלֹשִׁים יוֹם וּשְׁלֹשֶׁת יָמִים תֵּשֵׁב בְּדְמֵי

And on the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised. And for thirty-three days she shall remain in the blood of purification; she shall not touch any holy thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purification are completed.

And if she gives birth to a female, she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her menstruation, and for sixty-six days she shall remain upon the blood of purification. And when the days of her purification are completed, for a son or for a daughter, she shall bring a yearling lamb for a burnt offering and a young pigeon or a turtledove for a sin offering, to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, to the priest. And he shall offer it before the Lord and make atonement for her, and she shall be purified from the source of her blood; this is the law for her who gives birth, to a male or to a female. And if her means do not suffice for a sheep, then she shall take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one for a burnt offering and one for a sin offering, and the priest shall make atonement for her, and she shall be pure.

And the Lord spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying: When a person has in the skin of his flesh a swelling or a scab or a bright spot, and it becomes in the skin of his flesh a mark of leprous affliction, he shall be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of his sons the priests. And the priest shall look at the mark in the skin of the flesh: if the hair in the mark has turned white and the appearance of the mark is deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a mark of leprous affliction; when the priest has looked at him, he shall declare him unclean. And if it is a white bright spot in the skin of his flesh, and its appearance is not deeper than the skin, and its hair has not turned white, then the priest shall shut up the mark for seven days. And the priest shall look at it on the seventh day: if the mark has remained in his eyes, the mark has not spread in the skin, then the priest shall shut him up for seven days more.
