Save Your people, the Jewish Nation, from their enemies. Bless them in everything they do, because they are Your everlasting inheritance. Take care of them as a shepherd cares for his flock, and raise them above all the other nations forever. May these words of mine, which I have pleaded before the Lord, be near to the Lord, our God, so that He will protect me by day and by night. I have prayed that God should fulfill the needs of His servant and the needs of His people, the Children of Israel, according to each day's needs. God should fulfill my requests so that all the nations of the world will know that the Lord is God. There is nothing else.

May it be Your will, Lord, our God and the God of our fathers, Who chooses good prophets and their good customs, that You should willingly and mercifully accept our prayers and our processions around the bimah. Remember on our behalf the merit of Your seven perfect righteous people—Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Aaron, David, and Solomon. Remove the iron barrier that separates between us and You.1 You Who hangs the earth in space—listen to our cries and seal our judgment for the good. Seal our judgment in the book of good life. On this day, let there be five Severities in Your glorious Divine Presence, which have been sweetened and made less severe by our hitting willow branches on the ground according to the custom of Your holy prophets. God, awaken Your love and kiss us with the kisses of Your mouth, which sweetens and softens all the severities and strict judgments. May You light up Your glorious Divine Presence with Your holy name "Yud Kay Vav," which, when its letters are spelled out as above, has the same numerical value as the Hebrew word for dew and is like dew—the dew of light; just as dew causes plants to live and grow, God will bring dead people alive again with the final Redemption. From there, may You give in abundance to me, Your servant who prays to You: that You should increase the days of my life and forgive me for my unintentional sins, my intentional sins, and my rebellious sins. Extend Your right and left hand to accept me with complete repentance before You. Open Your treasure of goodness to satisfy my thirsting soul with water, as it is written in Your Torah: The Lord will open for you His treasure-house of goodness; the skies, to give rain for your land at its proper time and to bless all the work of your hands. Amen.
