בְּנֵי שָׁנָה אַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר, תְּמִימִם:

English

On the sixth day of Sukkot, you should offer eight young bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs that are less than a year old; they should be unblemished.

You should also offer their flour-offerings and their wine offerings, as it says in the Torah: Three-tenths of an eifah of fine flour for each bull, two-tenths of an eifah of fine flour for each ram, and one-tenth of an eifah of fine flour for each lamb. Wine according to each offering’s wine offering. Also offer a male goat to atone for those who unknowingly made holy objects or places impure, and the two daily burnt-offerings according to their laws.

On the eighth day of Sukkot—which should be a day of restraint for you—you should not do any work. Those who keep Shabbat and call it a pleasure will be happy that You are King. All of the Jewish Nation, Your people, who make the seventh day holy, will feel satisfied from Your goodness and they will enjoy it. You were pleased with the seventh day and made it holy. You called it the most desirable of all days. It is a reminder of Your work during the six days of creation and Your resting on the seventh day.

Rebuild the Holy Temple so we can appear before You on the festivals

English

Our God and the God of our fathers; merciful King, have mercy on us. God, Who is good and does good, make Yourself accessible to us and listen to our prayers. For the sake of our fathers who did Your will, turn toward us with Your great mercy. Build Your house as it used to be; establish Your Holy Temple on its site. Show us its rebuilding and make us happy through its completion. Return the Kohanim to their service, the Levites to their song and music, and return the Israelites to their homes. We will go up there, to the rebuilt Temple, and we will appear before You and bow to You on the festivals, as it is written in Your Torah: God tells the Jewish Nation: Three times a year, all your males should appear before the Lord, your God,<sup>1</sup> in the place that He chooses—on
