My God, guard my tongue from saying bad things, and prevent my lips from speaking dishonestly. Let my soul be quiet and ignore those who curse me; let my soul be as humble as dust before everyone. Open my heart to Your Torah so that I will understand it properly, and let my soul always chase after Your commandments. Quickly cancel the ideas of any people thinking of doing evil to me, and ruin their plans.
