Blessed are You, Lord, our God and the God of our fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. The great, strong, and awesome God, the God Who is high and rules over everything, the God Who does good acts of kindness, Who creates everything, Who remembers the kindness and good things the Patriarchs did, and Who brings a redeemer to redeem their descendants from exile. Even if we do not deserve it, God will lovingly redeem us from exile for the sake of His name—so that everyone will recognize that He is a good and kind God.
On the Shabbat before Yom Kippur, add the following. If omitted it is not necessary to return or repeat the Amidah.

If you said מַשִּׁיב הָרוּחַ וּמוֹרִיד הַגֶּשֶׁם during the summer and realized the mistake before completing the blessing, return to the beginning of the blessing. If you realize the mistake after saying God’s name at the end of the blessing, begin the Amidah again.

God kindly provides all living things with what they need, even if they do not deserve it, brings the dead back to life with great mercy, supports those who fall, heals those who are sick, frees those who are imprisoned,<sup>1</sup> and keeps the promise made to the Patriarchs—who have passed away and are buried in the dust of the earth—to protect their children. God, who is like You; who is so mighty and powerful? And who can be compared to You, God, our King, Who causes people to die<sup>1</sup> and brings the dead back to life, and Who causes His salvation to grow like a protective tree for the Jewish Nation?
