Without interruption, place the head-tefillin on your head. Ensure that it is positioned properly—just above the hairline and centered between the eyes.
Finish wrapping the strap of the hand-tefillin around your hand and middle finger.
If one spoke between putting on the hand-tefillin and head-tefillin (about matters that are not relevant to putting on tefillin), the following blessing should be said before putting on the head-tefillin:

God is the <b>Master of the universe, Who reigned</b> as king <b>before anything was created.</b> When everything in the universe was made as God wanted, He was then recognized and <b>called by the name "King"</b> by His creations.<sup>3</sup> After <b>everything ceases to exist, the awesome and mighty God will reign alone. God always was, He always is, and He always will be in glory.</b> He is the <b>one</b> and only existence, because everything that exists in the universe is part of God.
