עֻזּוֹ בְּגָבְהֵי מְרוֹמִים.

give praise to the supreme King of all kings, the Holy One, blessed be He, Who stretches out the heavens and establishes the earth. The seat of His glory is in heaven above, and the home of His majesty is in heaven, in the greatest spiritual heights. He is our God; there is none other. Truly, He is our King; there is nothing besides Him, as it is written in His Torah: Know that the Lord is God; let it be as certain to you as if you saw today the revelation of God as it was at the Giving of the Torah. Take it to your heart. Really the God in heaven above and on the earth below.

Therefore, we hope to You, Lord, our God,1 because there is nothing besides You. We hope to speedily see the beauty of Your strength, which You will use to remove idolatry from the earth. The false gods that people serve will be completely destroyed. We hope to perfect the world under the rulership of the Almighty, so that all people will know about You and call Your name. We hope to make all the wicked people of the earth repent and turn to You. All the people of the world will recognize and know that every knee should bend to You to worship You, and the tongue of every person should make an oath only in Your name. All the people of the world will bend their knees and fall and bow down before You, Lord, our God, and they will give honor to the glory of Your name. They will all accept the yoke of Your kingdom upon themselves and will begin to serve You. May You speedily rule over them forever and ever, because the power to rule as king is Yours, and You will rule in glory forever, as it is written in Your Torah: The Lord will rule as king forever and ever. And it is said in Zechariah: The Lord will be King over the entire earth. On that day, when the final Redemption arrives, the Lord will be One, and His name will be One.

May God's great name be exalted and holy (Amen) — throughout the universe, which He created as He wanted. May He establish His kingdom over the entire universe, bring His redemption, and speed up the coming of His Mashiach, (Amen) — in your lifetime and in your days, and in the lifetime of the entire House of Israel, speedily and soon. And everyone say Amen. (Amen. May God's great name be blessed forever and ever—it will be blessed.) May God's great name be blessed forever and ever. The name of the Holy One, Who is blessed, will be blessed, celebrated, glorified, exalted, raised, honored, uplifted, and praised (Amen) — more than all the blessings, songs, praises, and comforting words that are said in the world. And everyone say Amen. (Amen) May there be much peace from God in heaven, and good life for us and all of the Children of Israel. And everyone say Amen. (Amen)

From Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur, say הַשָּׁלוֹם instead of שָׁלוֹם.
