English

God tells the Jewish Nation: Do not fear sudden terror, and do not fear the destruction of wicked people when it comes, for it will not harm you. We tell our enemies, "Organize a plan to attack us, but it will be canceled; speak about what you want to do, but your plans will not stand, because God is with us." God tells the Jewish Nation: I am with you until your old age; I will care for you until you are very old. I have made you and I will carry you. I will care for you and I will save you.

Indeed, the righteous will praise Your name; and the upright will merit to sit in Your presence and praise You.

English

God is merciful and forgives our sins;1 He does not destroy us because of them. Many times He turns His anger away from us, and He does not stir up all of His anger. Save us, Lord; may the King of the universe answer us on the day we call out to Him.

The following is a song that was sung by the Levites on the steps of the Holy Temple. Now it is time to bless the Lord and thank Him for giving us what we need. All the servants of the Lord, the ones who stand up and go to synagogue—the Lord's house—at night, should bless God. Lift up your hands in holiness to God and bless the Lord. When you bless Him, the Lord will bless you from Zion (Jerusalem). God, Who made the heaven and earth, will bless us. The days of the Redemption are about to arrive. The Lord will command His kindness to save us from exile. During the night—during exile—His song of praise is with me; I sing songs of praise to God for helping us in exile. Pray to the God Who gives me life. The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; He is their strength at the time of their suffering. The Lord always helps them and rescues them. He rescues them from wicked people and saves them, because they trust and believe in Him.

Say each of the following three verses three times:

The Lord, the God of all creations, is always with us. The God of Jacob is our stronghold; He will give us strength forever.

May God's great name be exalted and holy (Amen) — throughout the universe, which He created as He wanted. May He establish His kingdom over the entire universe, bring His redemption, and speed up the coming of His Mashiach, (Amen) — in your lifetime and in your days, and in the lifetime of the entire House of Israel, speedily and soon. And everyone say Amen. (Amen. May God's great name be blessed forever and ever—it will be blessed.) May God's great name be blessed forever and ever. The name of the Holy One, Who is blessed, will be blessed, celebrated, glorified, exalted, honored, uplifted, and praised (Amen) — more than all the blessings, songs, praises, and comforting words that are said in the world.
