From Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur, add the following. If omitted, it is not necessary to return or repeat the Amidah. During the chazzan's repetition of the Amidah, the congregation says this paragraph first, followed by the chazzan.

The chazzan's repetition of the Amidah ends here. The silent Amidah continues:
