Holding the Tzitzit for the Shema

Chabad: ' is a reduced vowel — every vocal shva, always pronounced. - separates syllables that would otherwise run together.

How to read the transliterations

GRASPING THE TZITZIT FOR THE SHEMA

Grasp all four tzitzit in the left hand, passing outward between the little and ring fingers, inward between the middle and index fingers, and outward once more between the thumb and index finger. (Before וַיֹּאמֶר (The Lord spoke) on page 43 and 208 they are to be held in the right hand as well.)

GRASPING THE CUP FOR KIDDUSH

Set the Kiddush cup down upon the palm of the right hand.

READYING THE LULAV

Two rings are set upon the lulav proper, and the hadassim and aravot should cover these, even the top ring, at least in some measure.
Three rings serve to bind the hadassim and aravot to the lulav. All three of these rings are to lie within one handbreadth.
