alted. Sing to the LORD, for He has done glorious things; let this be known throughout the world. He redeemed my soul in peace from the battle waged against me, for the sake of the many who were with me. The people said to Saul, “Shall Jonathan die – he who has brought about this great deliverance in Israel? Heaven forbid! As surely as the LORD lives, not a hair of his head shall fall to the ground, for he did this today with God’s help.” So the people rescued Jonathan and he did not die. I create the speech of lips: Peace, peace to those far and near, says the LORD, and I will heal them. Then the spirit came upon Amasai, chief of the captains, and he said: “We are yours, David!
