alted. Sing to the LORD, for He has done glorious things; let this be known throughout the world. Shout aloud and sing for joy, you who dwell in Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel. On that day they will say, “See, this is our God; we set our hope in Him and He saved us. This is the LORD in whom we hoped; let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”

Come, house of Jacob: let us walk in the light of the LORD. He will be the sure foundation of your times; a rich store of salvation, wisdom and knowledge – the fear of the LORD is a person’s treasure. In everything he did, David was successful, for the LORD was with him.

He redeemed my soul in peace from the battle waged against me, for the sake of the many who were with me. The people said to Saul, “Shall Jonathan die – he who has brought about this great deliverance in Israel? Heaven forbid! As surely as the LORD lives, not a hair of his head shall fall to the ground, for he did this today with God’s help.” So the people rescued Jonathan and he did not die. Those redeemed by the LORD shall return; they will enter Zion singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
Ps. 30Deut. 23Jer. 31

הָפַכְתָּ מִסְפְּדִי לְמָחוֹל לִי, פִּתַּחְתָּ שַׂקִּי, וַתְּאַזְּרֵנִי שִׂמְחָה: וְלֹא־אָבָה

You have turned my sorrow into dancing. You have removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy. The LORD your God refused to listen to Balaam; instead the LORD your God turned the curse into a blessing, for the LORD your God loves you. Then maidens will dance and be glad; so too will young men and old together; I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

I create the speech of lips: Peace, peace to those far and near, says the LORD, and I will heal them. Then the spirit came upon Amasai, chief of the captains, and he said: “We are yours, David! We are with you, son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, and peace to those who help you; for your God will help you.” Then David received them and made them leaders of his troop. And you shall say: “To life! Peace be to you, peace to your household, and peace to all that is yours!” The LORD will give strength to His people; the LORD will bless His people with peace.
