אָבִינוּ אָב הָרַחֲמָן, הַרְאֵנוּ אוֹת לְטוֹבָה וְקַבֵּץ נְפוּצוֹתֵינוּ מֵאַרְבַּע כַּנְפוֹת
הָאָרֶץ. יַכִּירוּ וְיֵדְעוּ כָּל הַגּוֹיִם כִּי אַתָּה יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ. וְעַתָּה יְהוָה אָבִינוּ
אַתָּה, אֲנַחְנוּ הַחֹמֶר וְאַתָּה יֹצְרֵנוּ וּמַעֲשֵׂה יָדְךָ כֻּלָּנוּ׃ הוֹשִׁיעֵנוּ לְמַעַן
שְׁמֶךָ, אָבִינוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ צוּרֵנוּ וְגוֹאֲלֵנוּ. חוּסָה יְהוָה עַל־עַמֶּךָ, וְאַל־תִּתֵּן
נַחֲלָתְךָ לְחֶרְפָּה לְמָשָׁל־בָּם גּוֹיִם, לָמָּה יֹאמְרוּ בָעַמִּים אַיֵּה אֱלֹהֵיהֶם׃
יָדַעְנוּ יְהוָה כִּי חָטָאנוּ וְאֵין מִי יַעֲמֹד בַּעֲדֵנוּ, אֶלָּא שִׁמְךָ הַגָּדוֹל יַעֲמֹד
לָנוּ בְּעֵת צָרָה. יָדַעְנוּ כִּי אֵין בָּנוּ מַעֲשִׂים, צְדָקָה עֲשֵׂה עִמָּנוּ לְמַעַן שְׁמֶךָ.
כְּרַחֵם אָב עַל בָּנִים כֵּן תְּרַחֵם יְהוָה עָלֵינוּ, וְהוֹשִׁיעֵנוּ לְמַעַן שְׁמֶךָ. חֲמֹל
עַל עַמֶּךָ, רַחֵם עַל נַחֲלָתֶךָ, חוּסָה נָא בְּרֹב רַחֲמֶיךָ, חָנֵּנוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ וַעֲנֵנוּ.
כִּי לְךָ יְהוָה הַצְּדָקָה, עֹשֵׂה נִפְלָאוֹת בְּכָל עֵת.

Avinu av harachaman, hareinu ot letovah vekabetz nefutoteinu me'arba kanfot
ha'aretz. Yakiru veyede'u kol hagoyim ki atah Adonai Eloheinu. Ve'atah Adonai Avinu
atah, anachnu hachomer ve'atah yotzreinu uma'aseh yadcha kulanu: hoshi'enu lema'an
shemecha, Avinu Malkeinu Tzureinu vego'aleinu. Chusah Adonai al-amecha, ve'al-titen
nachalatecha lecherpah lemashal-bam goyim, lamah yomru va'amim ayeh Eloheihem:
Yadanu Adonai ki chatanu ve'ein mi ya'amod ba'adeinu, ela shimcha hagadol ya'amod
lanu be'et tzarah. Yadanu ki ein banu ma'asim, tzedakah ase imanu lema'an shemecha.
Kerachem av al banim kein teracheim Adonai aleinu, vehoshieinu lema'an shemecha. Chamol
al amecha, rachem al nachalatecha, chusah na berov rachamecha, chaneinu Malkeinu va'aneinu.

English

Our Father, compassionate Father, show us a sign for good, and gather our scattered ones from the four quarters of the earth. Let all the nations recognize and know that You are the LORD our God. And now, LORD, You are our Father. We are the clay and You are our Potter; we are all the work of Your hand. Save us for the sake of Your name, our Father, our King, our Rock and our Redeemer. Pity Your people, LORD. Let not Your heritage become an object of scorn, a byword among nations. Why should they say among the peoples, "Where is their God?" We know, LORD, that we have sinned and that there is no one to stand up for us – only Your great name can stand up for us in time of trouble. We know we have no merits of our own: therefore deal with us charitably for Your name's sake. As a father has compassion on his children, so, LORD, have compassion on us, and save us for the sake of Your name. Have mercy on Your people; have compassion for Your heritage; take pity in Your great compassion. Be gracious to us, our King, and answer us, for righteousness is Yours, LORD. Always You do wondrous things.

לְךָ יְהוָה הַיְשׁוּעָה. בְּךָ תּוֹחַלְתֵּנוּ אֱלוֹהַּ סְלִיחוֹת, אָנָּא סְלַח נָא, כִּי אֵל
טוֹב וְסַלָּח אָתָּה. אָנָּא מֶלֶךְ רַחוּם וְחַנּוּן, זְכֹר וְהַבֵּט לִבְרִית בֵּין הַבְּתָרִים,
וְתֵרָאֶה לְפָנֶיךָ עֲקֵדַת יָחִיד. וּלְמַעַן יִשְׂרָאֵל אָבִינוּ, אַל תַּעַזְבֵנוּ אָבִינוּ וְאַל
תִּטְּשֵׁנוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ וְאַל תִּשְׁכָּחֵנוּ יוֹצְרֵנוּ, וְאַל תַּעַשׂ עִמָּנוּ כָּלָה בְּחַטֹּאתֵינוּ,
כִּי אֵל מֶלֶךְ חַנּוּן וְרַחוּם אָתָּה.

Habet na, rachem na, vehoshi'ah na tzon mar'itecha, ve'al yimshol banu ketzef, ki
lecha Adonai hayeshuah. Becha tohaltenu Eloah selichot, ana selach na, ki Eil
tov vesalach atah. Ana Melech rachum vechanun, zechor vehabet livrit bein habetarim,
vetera'e lefanecha akedat yachid. Ulema'an Yisrael Avinu, al ta'azveinu Avinu ve'al
titshenu Malkeinu ve'al tishkacheinu yotzreinu, ve'al ta'as imanu kalah bechatoteinu,
ki Eil Melech chanun verachum atah.

English

Please look, please swiftly have compassion and rescue the flock You tend. Let us not be ruled by wrath, for Yours, LORD, is the power to save. Our hope is in You, God of forgiveness. Please forgive, for You are a gracious, compassionate God. Please, compassionate and gracious King, remember and call to mind the Covenant between the Pieces [with Abraham] and let the binding of his only son [Isaac] appear before You. And for our father Yisrael's sake do not desert us, our Father, do not abandon us, our King, and do not forget us, our Maker, and do not destroy us as befits our sins – for You are a gracious and compassionate God and King.

חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת. הוֹשִׁיעֵנוּ וְרַחֲמֵנוּ בְּרַחֲמֶיךָ הָרַבִּים, מֵרַעַשׁ וּמֵרֹגֶז הַצִּילֵנוּ.
זְכֹר לַעֲבָדֶיךָ לְאַבְרָהָם לְיִצְחָק וּלְיַעֲקֹב, אַל תֵּפֶן אֶל קַשְׁיֵנוּ וְאֶל רִשְׁעֵנוּ
וְאֶל חַטֹּאתֵנוּ. שׁוּב מֵחֲרוֹן אַפֶּךָ, וְהִנָּחֵם עַל־הָרָעָה לְעַמֶּךָ׃ וְהָסֵר מִמֶּנּוּ
מַכַּת הַמָּוֶת כִּי רַחוּם אָתָּה, כִּי כֵן דַּרְכֶּךָ, עֹשֵׂה חֶסֶד חִנָּם בְּכָל דּוֹר וָדוֹר.

Zechor la'avadecha leavraham leYitzchak uleYa'akov, al teifen el kashyeinu ve'el rish'einu
ve'el chatoteinu. Shuv mecharon apecha, vehinacheim al-hara'ah le'amecha: vehaser mimenu

English

There is none like You in grace and compassion, LORD our God. There is none like You, God, slow to anger and abounding in loving-kindness and truth. Save us and have compassion for us in Your great compassion; rescue us from storm and turmoil. Remember Your servants Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; do not attend to our stubbornness, wickedness and sinfulness. Turn from Your fierce anger, and relent from the evil meant for Your people. Remove from us the scourge of death, for You are compassionate. This is Your way, to show unearned loving-kindness to every generation. Have pity
