And you shall bring an offering consumed by fire, a burnt-offering to the LORD: two young bullocks, one ram, and seven yearling male lambs; they shall be to you unblemished. And you shall perform their meal-offerings, fine flour mixed with oil, three-tenths of an ephah for each bull, two-tenths of an ephah for the ram; and one-tenth of an ephah for each of the seven lambs; and one goat for a sin-offering, to make atonement for you. All this aside from the morning burnt-offering, the daily offering; You shall offer all of these as food, on each of the seven days, a burnt-offering by fire of pleasing aroma to the LORD, along with the regular daily offering and its libation. On the seventh day there shall be a sacred assembly: you shall do no laborious work.

And David spoke the words of this song to the LORD – on the day the LORD saved him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. And he said: LORD, my Rock, my Fortress – and my Deliverer; my God, my Rock – I shelter in Him; my Shield and the Strength for my salvation; my Keep and my Refuge, my Savior; You save me from violence. Praised One! I call to the LORD, and from my enemies I am saved – for breaking-waves of death were all around me, torrents of evil assailed me; the ropes of the grave encircled me, traps of death were in front of me. In my anguish I called to the LORD – to my God, I called out – and He heard from His sanctuary, my voice and my pleas were in His ears.
