תַּעֲנֶה אֱמוּנִים שׁוֹפְכִים לְךָ לֵב כַּמַּיִם וְהוֹשִׁיעָה נָא.
לְמַעַן בָּא בָּאֵשׁ וּבַמַּיִם וְהַצְלִיחָה נָא.
גָּזַר וְגַם יֻקַּח נָא מְעַט מַיִם וְהוֹשִׁיעֵנוּ אֵל מָעֻזֵּנוּ.

Ta'aneh emunim shofchim lecha lev kamayim vehoshi'ah na.
Lema'an ba ba'esh uvamayim vehatzlichah na.
Gazar vegam yukach na me'at mayim vehoshi'enu Eil ma'uzenu.
English
Answer the faithful ones who pour out their hearts to You like water – and save us, please; for the sake of [Abraham] who came through fire and water – and grant us success, please; He gave the order and said, “Please, bring a little water” – save us, God our Refuge.

תַּעֲנֶה דְּגָלִים גָּזוּ גְזוּרֵי מַיִם וְהוֹשִׁיעָה נָא.
לְמַעַן הַנֶּעֱקָד בְּשַׁעַר הַשָּׁמַיִם וְהַצְלִיחָה נָא.
וְשָׁב וְחָפַר בְּאֵרוֹת מַיִם וְהוֹשִׁיעֵנוּ אֵל מָעֻזֵּנוּ.
Sephardi
Ta'aneh degalim gazu gezurei mayim vehoshi'ah na.
Lema'an hanne'ekad besha'ar hashamayim vehatzlichah na.
Veshav vechafar be'erot mayim vehoshi'enu Eil ma'uzenu.
English
Answer the flagged tribes who went swift through the split sea – and save us, please; for the sake of [Isaac who was] bound at the gate of heaven – and grant us success, please; he who yet lived to return and to dig out wells of water – save us, God our Refuge.

Answer the pure ones encamped on the water – and save us, please; for the sake of smooth-skinned [Jacob] who peeled branches by troughs of water – and grant us success, please; he who heaved and rolled a rock from the well of water – save us, God our Refuge.

Answer the beloved ones, heirs to a Law likened to water – and save us, please; for the sake of those [princes in the wilderness] whose staffs drew forth water – and grant us success, please; to prepare for them and for their children – water – save us, God our Refuge.

Answer those who plead as in the wilderness for water – and save us, please; for the sake of [Moses], trusted in Your household, who provided the people with water – and grant us success, please; he hit the rock and out flowed water – save us, God our Refuge.
