לְיָפָה וּבָרָה הוֹשַׁע נָא וְהוֹשִׁיעָה נָּא, אָבִינוּ אָתָּה.

English
For the sake of the one taught to read a sign of good things, who cried out, “Where are the wonders now?” But later wrung rain from the wool – a whole bowl full of water – the bride of Lebanon – save, please: save us, please: You are our Father.

For the sake of one who laughed and danced in song, who taught the Torah through any instrument of music, who libated before You, though he longed to drink water – those who placed their hope in You – save, please: save us, please: You are our Father.

For the sake of one who served his teacher truly, and was assigned a double measure of his spirit. When he called the musician to play, the pools were filled with water – those who said “Who is like You?” – save, please: save us, please: You are our Father.
