It will be that when the Lord brings you to the Land of Israel, the land of the Canaanites—as He promised to you and your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—and gives it to you, at that time you should set aside for the Lord every firstborn that opens its mother's womb; of every firstborn animal that you have, the males should belong to the Lord. You should redeem every firstborn male donkey by giving a lamb to a Kohen. If you do not redeem this male donkey, then you can not use it, because it is holy. Instead, you must break its neck and kill it. You will redeem every human firstborn among your sons by paying a Kohen five silver coins. It will be that when your son will ask you in the future, saying: What is this commandment of redeeming a firstborn? You should say to him: The Lord brought us out of Egypt, from the house of slavery, with a mighty hand. The Egyptians didn't let the Jewish Nation use wagons to take their belongings out of Egypt, only donkeys. Miraculously, they were able to carry everything on the donkeys, which is why firstborn donkeys are considered holy. It happened when Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go: the Lord killed every firstborn in the land of Egypt; human firstborns and animal firstborns. Therefore, I sacrifice to the Lord every male that opens its mother's womb, and I redeem every firstborn of my sons. Tefillin will be as a sign on your hand and a reminder between your eyes, to remind us that the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
The following is the commandment for the special offerings brought in the Holy Temple during the Festival of Pesach.

SECOND DAY CHOL HAMOED PESACH

When the second day of Chol Hamoed occurs on Sunday, the Torah Reading for The First Day of Chol Hamoed is read, page 767. On all other days, the following is read.
The following speaks of several commandments including celebrating the festivals and the pilgrimage to Jerusalem.

When one of My people—a Jew—is in need of a loan, you have an obligation to lend him money. If more than one person requests a loan and you can only afford to lend to one, priority should be given to the poor person who dwells with you in your city. If you know that he doesn't have money to pay you back, you shall not press for payment as a typical creditor; rather, treat him as if you have not lent him anything. You may not charge him interest. If the agreed upon time for the repayment of the loan has passed, you may take your borrower's garment as collateral. However, if it is a garment that is worn during the day, you must return it to him so that he can have it for his personal use until sunset, and if it is a night garment, you must return it so that he can have it until morning. For it is his only cloak or it is his shirt to cover his skin, or his only bedding. For if you will not return it to him for the night, in what will he lie down to sleep? If you will not return the item and it will be that, as a result, he will cry out to Me, I will heed his cry, for I am gracious.
