the first day of Nissan. <b>The leaders each brought their offering to the altar. The Lord said to Moses,</b> regarding these offerings: <b>One leader a day, one leader a day,</b> over a period of twelve days, is the way <b>they shall bring their offering for the dedication of the altar.</b>

His offering</b> consisted of <b>one silver plate</b> that weighed <b>one hundred and thirty shekel</b> (approximately 5.5 lbs), <b>one silver dish</b> that weighed <b>seventy shekel of the holy shekel</b> (approximately 3 lbs); both were <b>filled with fine flour mixed with olive oil</b> to be offered as a <b>flour-offering.</b> He also brought <b>one golden spoon</b> weighing <b>ten</b> holy shekel (approximately 6.7 ounces), <b>filled with incense.</b>
