Today is forty-seven days, which is six weeks and five days of the Omer.

May God rebuild the Holy Temple speedily

בֵּית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ לִמְקוֹמָהּ,
בִּמְהֵרָה בְיָמֵינוּ אָמֵן סֶלָה.

Harachaman hu yachzir lanu avodat
beit hamikdash limkomah,
bimherah veyameinu amen selah.

English

May the merciful God return for us the service of the Holy Temple to its place; may we once again bring offerings in the Holy Temple, speedily in our days. Amen, Selah.

All nations will praise God

The following is a song composed for the choirmaster of the Levites, to be sung together with instruments in the Holy Temple. May God be gracious to us and bless us. May His face shine on us and make us successful in everything we do, forever. God, may You do this in order to let people on earth know Your ways and know that You are gracious to those who believe in You, and so that all nations will know that You save the Jewish Nation. When nations see that You reward those who believe in You, God, they will praise You. All the nations will praise You. Nations will be happy and sing with joy, because they will realize that You judge nations fairly and that You will help and guide all the nations on earth forever. Nations will praise You, God, when they see that You are gracious to everyone. All nations will praise You—because the earth has given its produce, and for all the blessings that You, God, our God, will bless us.1 God will bless us because of our trust in Him. All nations—including those in the farthest corners of the earth—will fear Him. They will realize that only those who fear God are blessed.

When saying אָנָּא בְּכֹחַ, look at (or picture in your mind) God's holy names formed by the acronyms of the words (as they appear in the grey type), but do not say them.

May God listen to our prayers and protect us

We beg You, God, with the great strength of Your right hand, release the Jewish Nation, which is being held captive in exile. Accept the song and praise of Your nation. Strengthen us and purify us, awesome God. Please, mighty God, guard the Jewish Nation, which seeks Your unity, as a person protects the center of his eye. Bless them with livelihood; make their hearts and minds pure. With the mercy of Your righteousness, always reward them. Powerful and Holy God, lead Your community, the Jewish Nation, with Your great goodness. You are the only and uplifted God. We ask You to turn to Your nation, the Jewish Nation, which always remembers Your holiness. God Who knows all secrets, accept our pleading and listen to our cry. The name of God's glorious kingdom is blessed forever and ever.

May God clean our souls of all blemishes

Master of the universe, You have commanded us through Moses Your servant to count the Omer, in order to purify us from our unholy spirits and from our impurity, which cover over our holiness, just like a shell covers over the fruit inside. As You wrote in Your Torah: You, the Jewish Nation, should count days for yourselves, starting from the day after the day of rest, which is the first day
