Our God and the God of our fathers, may the following memories rise up, come to You, reach You, be seen, willingly accepted, heard, recalled, and remembered by You: The memories and recollections of the good things that we and our fathers did for You; the memory of Mashiach, who is a descendant of King David, Your servant; the memory of Jerusalem, Your holy city, which is in ruins; and the memory of Your entire nation, the House of Israel, should all be remembered before You. Lord, our God, bring upon us the blessings of Your festivals—blessings for good life and for peace; for joy and for happiness. Bless us as You desired and promised to bless us. (Our God and the God of our fathers, please willingly accept our resting from work on Shabbat.) Make us holy through Your commandments and give us our portion in Your Torah, so that we will be able to learn it properly. Satisfy us with Your goodness and make our souls happy with Your salvation. Make our hearts pure in order for us to serve You honestly and truthfully. Lord, our God, give us Your holy (Shabbat and) festivals as an everlasting inheritance—(lovingly, willingly,) happily, and joyfully. All the Children of Israel, who make Your name holy, will be happy because of You. Blessed are You, Lord, Who makes (the day of Shabbat), the Children of Israel and the festivals holy.

Lord, our God, may You continue to want the Children of Israel as Your nation and pay attention to their prayer. Return the service (offerings) to the Holy Temple, Your home. Accept with love and good will the fire offerings and prayer of the Children of Israel.<sup>1</sup> May the service of Your nation, the Children of Israel, always find favor.

Bring us back to Jerusalem

May our eyes witness the final Redemption, when Your Divine Presence will return to the holy city of Jerusalem with mercy. Blessed are You, Lord, Who brings His Divine Presence back to Jerusalem.
