During the northern winter (between Shemini Atzeret and the first day of Pesach), say מַשִּׁיב הָרוּחַ וּמוֹרִיד הַגֶּשֶׁם.

If you said מוֹרִיד הַטָּל during the winter, it is not necessary to go back and correct the error. If you said מַשִּׁיב הָרוּחַ וּמוֹרִיד הַגֶּשֶׁם during the summer and realized the mistake before completing the blessing, return to the beginning of the blessing. If you realized the mistake after saying God’s name at the end of the blessing, begin the Amidah again.

God kindly provides all living things with what they need, even if they do not deserve it, brings the dead back to life with great mercy, supports those who fall, heals those who are sick, frees those who are imprisoned, and keeps the promise made to the Patriarchs—who have passed away and are buried in the dust of the earth—to protect their children. God, who is like You; who is so mighty and powerful? And who can be compared to You, God, our King, Who causes people to die and brings the dead back to life, and Who causes His salvation to grow like a protective tree for the Jewish Nation? You are trustworthy, and we are certain that You will bring the dead back to life. Blessed are You, Lord, Who brings the dead back to life.

May the glory of the Lord be blessed from its spiritual place. From Your place, God, our King, reveal Yourself to us and rule over us, because we are waiting for You. When will You once again rule in Zion (Jerusalem)? We hope it will be very soon in our days and that it will last forever. May Your Divine Presence rest and be known to all as great and holy within Jerusalem, Your city, for all generations and forever. May our eyes see Your kingdom, as it says in the songs of Psalms, which describe Your majesty, composed by King David, Your righteous anointed king.
