Kaddish Derabanan

Mourners say the following Kaddish. If there are no mourners, the chazzan should say this Kaddish.

Stand with your feet together while saying Kaddish. The person who says this Kaddish bows his head as follows: at שְׁמֵהּ רַבָּא; at וִיקָרֵב מְשִׁיחֵהּ; at וְאִמְרוּ אָמֵן, after which he raises his head for a moment; at יְהֵא שְׁמֵהּ רַבָּא...יִתְבָּרַךְ, after which he raises his head for a moment; at וְיִשְׁתַּבַּח...וְיִתְהַלָּל, after which he raises his head for a moment; at שְׁמֵהּ דְּקֻדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא; and at each time וְאִמְרוּ אָמֵן is said

יִתְגַּדַּל וְיִתְקַדַּשׁ שְׁמֵהּ רַבָּא. (אָמֵן)

English

May God's great name be exalted and holy (Amen) — throughout the universe, which He created as He wanted. May He establish His kingdom over the entire universe, bring His redemption, and speed up the coming of His Mashiach, (Amen) — in your lifetime and in your days, and in the lifetime of the entire House of Israel, speedily and soon. And everyone say Amen. (Amen. May God's great name be blessed forever and ever—it will be blessed.)

May God's great name be blessed forever and ever. The name of the Holy One, Who is blessed, will be blessed, celebrated, glorified, exalted, raised, honored, uplifted, and praised (Amen) — more than all the blessings, songs, praises, and comforting words that are said in the world. And everyone say Amen. (Amen)

English

On the Children of Israel, on our Rabbis, on their students, on all the students of their students, and on everyone who occupies himself with Torah, whether they are in this place or in any other place—may there be on them and on you much peace, grace, kindness, mercy, long life, much livelihood, and salvation from their Father in heaven. And everyone say Amen. (Amen)

From Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur, say הַשָּׁלוֹם instead of שָׁלוֹם.
