On your days of Rosh Chodesh, you should bring a burnt-offering to the Lord—two young bulls, one ram, and seven lambs that are less than a year old; they should be unblemished.

English

You should also offer their flour-offerings and their wine offerings, as it says in the Torah: Three-tenths of an eifah of fine flour for each bull, two-tenths of an eifah of fine flour for the ram, and one-tenth of an eifah of fine flour for each lamb. Wine according to each offering's wine offering. Also offer a male goat to atone for those who unknowingly made holy objects or places impure, and the two daily burnt-offerings according to their laws.

During the chazzan's repetition of the Amidah, the congregation responds אָמֵן as shown.

May God give us all good things for this month

Our God and the God of our fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, renew this month for us for good and for blessing, (Amen) for joy and for happiness, (Amen) for salvation and for comfort, (Amen) for livelihood and for sustenance, (Amen) for good life and for peace, (Amen) for forgiving unintentional sins and for forgiving intentional sins. Lord, our God, may You continue to want the Children of Israel as Your nation and pay attention to their prayer. Return the service (offerings) to the Holy Temple, Your home. Accept with love and good will the fire offerings and prayer of the Children of Israel. May the service of Your nation, the Children of Israel, always find favor.

Bring us back to Jerusalem

We acknowledge and are thankful to You,1 that You, Lord, are our God and the God of our fathers, forever and ever. You are the strength of our life and the shield that protects and saves us in every generation. We will give thanks to You and tell Your praise. We will thank and praise You for our lives, which are completely in Your hand, for our souls, which are kept securely by You, for the miracles that You perform for us every day, and for Your wonders and goodness that are always with us. Three times a day we praise You: in the evening, in the morning, and in the afternoon: Maariv, Shacharit, and Minchah. You are the Good God, because Your mercy never ends. You are the Merciful God, because Your kindness never stops. We pray to You, for we have always put our hopes in You and trusted in You.
