BENEDICTION OVER THE LULAV
On each day of Sukkot, including Hoshanah Rabbah, shake the lulav and etrog, except on Shabbat.
It is preferable to wave the lulav and etrog within the sukkah. Performing this in the morning, after the morning blessings, is likewise preferable.
Stand facing east, holding the lulav in your right hand, its spine turned toward you, and recite the following blessing:
