BLESSING OVER THE LULAV
Shake the lulav and etrog on each day of Sukkot, including Hoshanah Rabbah, except on Shabbat.
It is preferable to shake the lulav and etrog in the sukkah. It is also preferable to do so in the morning, following the morning blessings.
While standing and facing east, hold the lulav in your right hand, with its spine facing toward you, and say the following blessing:
