me. Lord, remember Your acts of mercy and Your acts of kindness,1 because they have always been done—You’ve always acted with mercy and kindness. Nations of the world, give praise to God because of His strength.2 God’s pride rests upon the Children of Israel, and His power is shown in the skies.3 The fact that God controls the positions of the stars and the orbits of the planets in the sky shows how powerful He is. God, You are feared because of the great miracles that You perform in Your Holy Temple. It is the God of the Children of Israel Who gives strength and power to His nation. God should be blessed for all of this. The Lord is a God of retribution. God of retribution, show Yourself. God, Judge of the earth, rise up and reveal Your glory to the world. Give the arrogant nations what they deserve. The power of salvation belongs to the Lord. God, may Your blessing be upon Your people forever. The Lord, the God of all creations, is always with us. The God of Jacob is our stronghold; He will give us strength forever. Fortunate is the person who trusts in You, Lord. God of all creations, save us, Lord. May the King of the universe answer us on the day we call out to Him.

Save Your people, the Jewish Nation, from their enemies. Bless them in everything they do, because they are Your everlasting inheritance. Take care of them as a shepherd cares for his flock, and raise them above all the other nations forever.4 Our soul

yearns for the Lord to save us. He has always been our rescuer and our shield. Our hearts will be happy; we will rejoice in God when we realize that He is the one Who saves us, because we trust in Him and His holy name. Lord, may Your kindness be upon us, as much as we have placed our hope in You. Lord, show us Your kindness and give us Your salvation. Please rise up and be our helper. Redeem us from exile because of Your kindness, even if we do not deserve it. You promised us that You would do this, saying, “I am the Lord, your God, Who brought you up from the land of Egypt. Whenever you need Me, open your mouth wide. Ask Me for what you need, and I will fulfill it.”5 Fortunate is the nation who has such goodness. Fortunate is the nation whose God is the Lord. God, I trust that everything will be good because of Your kindness. My heart rejoices when You save me. I will sing to the Lord because He has been kind to me.

The following is a song that was composed by King David for the Levites to sing in honor of the dedication of the House (the Holy Temple): I exalt You, Lord, because You lifted me up by forgiving me for my sins, and You did not allow my enemies to be happy about my troubles. Lord, my God, I cried out to You and You healed me by forgiving me.6 Lord, You saved my life when You lifted me and saved me from going to Gehinom and You kept me alive by keeping me from going down into the grave. God’s righteous people should sing to the Lord when they see His acts of kindness, and they should praise His holy name. God’s anger lasts only for a moment; when He wants
