תִּשָּׁבַע כָּל לָשׁוֹן. לְפָנֶיךָ יְיָ אֱלֹהֵינוּ
יִכְרְעוּ וְיִפֹּלוּ, וְלִכְבוֹד שִׁמְךָ יְקָר
יִתֵּנוּ. וִיקַבְּלוּ כֻלָּם עֲלֵיהֶם אֶת עוֹל
מַלְכוּתֶךָ, וְתִמְלֹךְ עֲלֵיהֶם מְהֵרָה
לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד. כִּי הַמַּלְכוּת שֶׁלְּךָ הִיא,

English

fall and bow down before You, Lord, our God, and they will give honor to the glory of Your name. They will all accept the yoke of Your kingdom upon themselves and will begin to serve You. May You speedily rule over them forever and ever, because the power to rule as king is Yours, and You will rule in glory forever, as it is written in Your Torah: The Lord will rule as king forever and ever. And it is said in Zechariah: The Lord will be King over the entire earth. On that day, when the final Redemption arrives, the Lord will be One, and His name will be One.

Mourner's Kaddish

Mourners say the following Kaddish. If there are no mourners, a person whose parents are no longer alive should say Kaddish.

בְּעָלְמָא דִּי בְרָא כִרְעוּתֵהּ וְיַמְלִיךְ מַלְכוּתֵהּ,

English

May God's great name be exalted and holy (Amen) — throughout the universe, which He created as He wanted. May He establish His kingdom over the entire universe, bring His redemption, and speed up the coming of His Mashiach, (Amen) — in your lifetime and in your days, and in the lifetime of the entire House of Israel, speedily and soon. And everyone say Amen. (Amen. May God's great name be blessed forever and ever—it will be blessed.)

English

May God's great name be blessed forever and ever. The name of the Holy One, Who is blessed, will be blessed, celebrated, glorified, exalted, raised, honored, uplifted, and praised (Amen) — more than all the blessings, songs, praises, and comforting words that are said in the world. And everyone say Amen. (Amen)

From Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur, say הַשָּׁלוֹם instead of שָׁלוֹם.

God tells the Jewish Nation: Do not fear sudden terror, and do not fear the destruction of wicked people when it comes, for it will not harm you. We tell our enemies, "Organize a plan to attack us, but it will be canceled; speak about what you want to do, but your plans will not stand, because God is with us." God tells the Jewish Nation: I am with you until your old age; I will care for you until you are very old. I have made you and I will carry you. I will care for you and I will save you.

Indeed, the righteous will praise Your name; and the upright will merit to sit in Your presence and praise You.
