If one did not say the special parts for Shabbat, Rosh Chodesh, or festivals, and realized the mistake before starting the next paragraph, he should say the appropriate blessing below. If he realized after starting the next paragraph, he must start the Blessing After a Meal again. This only applies to Shabbat, the festival days of Pesach, Shavuot, and Sukkot, and the evening meal of Rosh Hashanah. However on Chol Hamoed, Rosh Chodesh, the Seudah Shelishit of Shabbat or festivals, or the daytime meal of Rosh Hashanah, when having a festive meal is not obligatory but optional, the Blessing After a Meal is not repeated.
