God, have mercy on the righteous people who act righteously, on the devoted ones who fulfill Your commandments with great care, on the elders of the House of Israel, Your nation—the sages who learn Torah—on the scholars who remain from previous generations, on the righteous converts, and on us. Please awaken Your mercy, Lord, our God, on all of these people and on us. Give a good reward to all those who truly trust in Your name, and place our portion to be from among them—may we be righteous like them. May we never be disgraced by following the evil inclination, because we trust in You to give us the strength to overcome temptation. Blessed are You, Lord, You are a support and security for the righteous people who believe in You.
