Israeli: ' marks a reduced vowel that Israeli speech drops (b'rachah); when the vowel is pronounced it is written e (lefanecha). - separates syllables that would otherwise run together.

Psalm 145

English
Of the glory of Your sovereignty they speak, telling of Your might, making known to humanity Your mighty deeds, and the splendor of Your majestic sovereignty. Your sovereignty is everlasting; Your dominion endures through every generation. Adonai upholds all who falter, and raises all who are bent down. The eyes of all look in hope to You, and You give them nourishment in its proper time. Opening Your hand, You sate all that lives with contentment. Adonai is righteous in every deed, faithful toward all creation. Adonai is near to all who call, to all who call in sincerity. God fulfills the desire of those who are faithful, heeding their cries, rescuing them. Adonai guards all who love the Holy One, yet will destroy all the wicked. My mouth shall speak praise of Adonai. May every mortal being praise God’s name forever and ever.
