Israeli: ' marks a reduced vowel that Israeli speech drops (b'rachah); when the vowel is pronounced it is written e (lefanecha). - separates syllables that would otherwise run together.

English
I extol You, my God, my sovereign; I praise Your name, always. Each day I praise You, giving glory to Your name, always. Great is Adonai, worthy of abundant praise, though Your greatness cannot be fathomed. One generation lauds Your works to the next, declaring Your mighty deeds. Of Your majestic glory and of Your wondrous acts I would speak. Age after age tells of Your awe-inspiring deeds; I, too, shall recount Your greatness. They declare Your abundant goodness, and sing of Your righteousness. Adonai is merciful and compassionate, long-suffering, and abounding in love. Adonai is good to all, and God’s mercy enfolds all of creation. All creation acknowledges You, and those who are faithful bless You.
