שֶׁהִיא עֲתִידָה לִתֵּן דִּין וְחֶשְׁבּוֹן לִפְנֵי כִסֵּא כְבוֹדֶךָ.
וְכָל הַגּוֹיִם כְּאַיִן נֶגְדֶּךָ
שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר
הֵן גּוֹיִם כְּמַר מִדְּלִי, וּכְשַׁחַק מֹאזְנַיִם נֶחְשָׁבוּ
הֵן אִיִּים כַּדַּק יִטּוֹל:

apart from the pure soul that will one day give report before Your glorious throne. And all the nations are as nothing before You, as it is said: "Nations are as a drop in the bucket, considered as the dust left on the scales; He lifts up the islands like fine sand."

בְּנֵי אַבְרָהָם אֹהַבְךָ שֶׁנִּשְׁבַּעְתָּ לּוֹ בְּהַר הַמּוֹרִיָּה
זֶרַע יִצְחָק יְחִידוֹ שֶׁנֶּעֱקַד עַל גַּבֵּי הַמִּזְבֵּחַ
עֲדַת יַעֲקֹב בִּנְךָ בְּכוֹרֶךָ
שֶׁמֵּאַהֲבָתְךָ שֶׁאָהַבְתָּ אוֹתוֹ, וּמִשִּׂמְחָתְךָ שֶׁשָּׂמַחְתָּ בּוֹ

But we are Your people, the children of Your covenant, the children of Abraham, Your beloved, to whom You made a promise on Mount Moriah; the offspring of Isaac his only one who was bound on the altar; the congregation of Jacob Your firstborn son whom – because of the love with which You loved him and the joy with which You rejoiced in him – You called Yisrael and Yeshurun.

Therefore it is our duty to thank You, and to praise, glorify, bless, sanctify and give praise and thanks to Your name. Happy are we, how good is our portion, how lovely our fate, how beautiful our heritage.

Happy are we who come early and late to synagogues and study houses, and proclaim the unity of Your name every day, continually, and twice recite with love –
