אֱלֹהַי, נְצֹר לְשׁוֹנִי מֵרָע וּשְׂפָתַי מִדַּבֵּר מִרְמָה
וְלִמְקַלְלַי נַפְשִׁי תִּדֹּם, וְנַפְשִׁי כֶּעָפָר לַכֹּל תִּהְיֶה.
פְּתַח לִבִּי בְּתוֹרָתֶךָ, וְאַחֲרֵי מִצְוֹתֶיךָ תִּרְדֹּף נַפְשִׁי.
וְכָל הַקָּמִים וְהַחוֹשְׁבִים עָלַי רָעָה,
מְהֵרָה הָפֵר עֲצָתָם וְקַלְקֵל מַחֲשַׁבְתָּם.
Israeli
Elohai, netzor leshoni mera usfatai midaber mirmah
velimkallai nafshi tidom, venafshi ke-afar lakol tihyeh.
p'tach libi b'Toratecha, ve-acharei mitzvotecha tirdof nafshi.
vechol hakamim vehachoshvim alai ra-ah,

On Friday night, the service proceeds with “Then the heavens and the earth” on page 420.
If Pesah’s first night falls on Shabbat, the first paragraph alone is recited.
Many, on the Seder night, recite Full Hallel (page 776), then Full Kaddish (page 424).
On the remaining Yamim Tovim, in both Minha and Ma’ariv, Full Kaddish (page 424) is recited.
After Full Kaddish on Pesah’s last nights, the Omer (page 318) is counted.
On Simhat Torah, recite Full Kaddish (page 424) in both Ma’ariv and Shaharit, then proceed with “You have been shown” and Hakafot on the following page.
Continue in Shaharit with Hallel (page 776), then Full Kaddish, the Daily Psalm, Torah Reading and Musaf.
If Pesah’s first day falls on Shabbat, Shir HaShirim is then read in Shaharit ahead of the Torah reading on the last day (in Israel, on the first day). On Shabbat Hol HaMo’ed it is otherwise read.
On Shavuot’s second day, Megillat Rut is read in Shaharit before the Torah reading (in Israel, on the first day).
If Sukkot’s first day falls on Shabbat, Kohelet is then read in Shaharit ahead of the Torah reading on Shemini Atzeret (in Israel, on the first day of Sukkot). On Shabbat Hol HaMo’ed it is otherwise read.
