It is true: Lord, our God, You redeemed us from Egypt, and You released us from the house of slavery.3 You killed all their firstborn sons, but You redeemed the Children of Israel, who are like Your firstborn. You split the Sea of Reeds for them. You drowned the wicked Egyptians in it, and You took Your beloved nation, the Jewish Nation, across it on dry land. The waters covered their enemy—the Egyptians—until they all drowned; not one of them was able to survive. Even Pharaoh, who did survive, only did so because God saved him.

God’s beloved nation, the Jewish Nation, praised and exalted God for all these miracles. His dear nation offered songs, melodies, praises, blessings, and thanks to the King, Who is the living and everlasting God. God is exalted, uplifted, great, and awesome. As He did during the Exodus from Egypt, He continually makes arrogant people humble and lowers them to the ground; He lifts up low and humble people to great heights. He frees people who are imprisoned, redeems people who are humble, and helps people who are poor. He answers His nation, the Children of Israel, when they cry out to Him.
Stand in preparation for the Amidah.

After the Jewish Nation saw the great miracles when they left Egypt, they offered praises to the God Who is high, God their Redeemer, Who is blessed on His own and blessed by others. Moses and the Children of Israel called out and sang a song to You with great joy, and they all said, “Who from among all the great and powerful creations is like You, Lord? Who is like You? You are adorned with holiness. The wonders that You do are so awesome that they cannot be sufficiently praised.”
Conclude the following paragraph together with the chazzan, avoiding any interruption between it and the Amidah (next page). Do not respond Amen after the blessing.

English
After they were freed from Egypt and crossed the Sea of Reeds, the newly redeemed Jewish Nation stood at the seashore and sang a new song, praising Your great name. Everyone together gave thanks to You for the miracles, accepted You as king over them, and said, “The Lord will rule as king forever and ever.” The prophet Isaiah said: God, our Redeemer, is called by the name “Lord of Creations” since He rules all creations. God is the Holy One, and His holiness is revealed through the Children of Israel. Blessed are You, Lord, Who redeemed the Children of Israel from Egypt and all their hardships.
