<b>On the eleventh day</b> of the dedication, <b>Pagiel son of Achran, leader</b> of the tribe of <b>Asher,</b> brought his offering. <b>His offering</b> consisted of <b>one silver plate that weighed one hundred and thirty</b> shekel (approximately 5.5 lbs), <b>one silver dish</b> that weighed <b>seventy shekel of the holy shekel</b> (approximately 3 lbs); <b>both</b> were <b>filled with fine flour mixed with olive oil</b> to be offered <b>as a flour-offering.</b> He also brought <b>one golden spoon</b> weighing <b>ten</b> shekel (approximately 6.7 ounces), <b>filled with incense.</b> He brought a <b>young bull</b> that was the <b>choicest</b> of its herd, <b>one ram, and one lamb</b> that was less than a <b>year old as a burnt-offering,</b> and <b>one male goat as a sin-offering. As a peace-offering,</b> he brought <b>two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five lambs</b> that were less than a <b>year old. This was the offering of Pagiel son of Achran</b> for the dedication of the altar.

<b>May it be Your will, Lord my God and the God of my fathers, that in Your great kindness You will shine today upon the holy souls</b> of the righteous, <b>who renew themselves like the birds to sing, praise, and pray</b> to God <b>on behalf of the holy nation,</b> the Children of Israel. <b>God, Master of the universe, gather and take in those holy souls,</b> who sing to You like the birds, <b>to the holy place</b>—the World to Come—<b>about which it says: No eye has seen it except for You, God. May it be Your will, Lord my God and the God of my fathers, that if I, Your servant, am from the tribe of Asher,</b> the tribe of whose <b>leader I have read about today in the section of Torah, then may all the holy sparks and all the holy lights that are included in the holiness of this tribe shine upon me, so that I will be able to understand and comprehend the hidden lessons in Your Torah, and to have a fear of You in my heart so that I will do Your will all the days of my life.</b> This should be for me, my children, and my children's children, now and forever.
