Blessing of Thanksgiving on Surviving Danger
The following blessing should be said by one who has completed an overseas journey, completed a dangerous journey over land, recovered from a serious illness, or has been released from captivity. It may also be said by one who has survived any other life-threatening event. The blessing should be said within three days of the event, and preferably before a Sefer Torah. Blessing for being saved from danger
