בַּדֶּרֶךְ: יַדְרֵךְ עֲנָוִים בַּמִּשְׁפָּט,
וִילַמֵּד עֲנָוִים דַּרְכּוֹ: כָּל אָרְחוֹת
יְיָ חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת, לְנֹצְרֵי בְרִיתוֹ
וְעֵדֹתָיו: לְמַעַן שִׁמְךָ יְיָ, וְסָלַחְתָּ
לַעֲוֹנִי כִּי רַב הוּא: מִי זֶה הָאִישׁ
יְרֵא יְיָ, יוֹרֶנּוּ בְּדֶרֶךְ יִבְחָר: נַפְשׁוֹ
בְּטוֹב תָּלִין וְזַרְעוֹ יִירַשׁ אָרֶץ: סוֹד
יְיָ לִירֵאָיו, וּבְרִיתוֹ לְהוֹדִיעָם:
עֵינַי תָּמִיד אֶל יְיָ, כִּי הוּא יוֹצִיא
מֵרֶשֶׁת רַגְלָי: פְּנֵה אֵלַי וְחָנֵּנִי,

הִרְחִיבוּ, מִמְּצוּקוֹתַי הוֹצִיאֵנִי: רְאֵה

humble people along the path of justice, and He teaches them His ways. All of the Lord’s paths are kindness and truth to those who keep His Covenant—His Torah—and His commandments. Forgive me, God, for my sin, even though it is great. Do it for the sake of Your name, Lord, so that people will recognize You as a forgiving God. King David tells us: The Lord helps the person who fears Him and teaches him how to choose the right path. When such a person dies, his soul will rest well, and his children will inherit the earth. The secrets of the Lord are revealed to those who fear Him. He makes His Covenant—the Torah—known to them. My eyes are always looking to the Lord, because He will free my feet from the trap that my enemies have set for me. Turn toward me and be gracious to me, God, because I am alone and in pain. The sufferings of my heart have increased; save me from my troubles. See my pain and suffering, and forgive all my sins. See how my enemies have increased; they hate me with a violent hatred. Guard my soul and save me. Do not let me be embarrassed by others, because I trust in You. Sincerity and uprightness will protect me, because my hope is in You. God, redeem the Children of Israel from all of their troubles. King David tells us: He, God, will redeem and forgive the Children of Israel for all their sins.<sup>1</sup>
