KIDDUSH RABBAH1 OF PESACH, SHAVUOT AND SUKKOT
Should a festival fall on Shabbat, quietly recite the Shabbat-day Kiddush from A Psalm through and made it holy (pages 248-249), prior to reciting Kiddush.
Should a festival fall on a weekday, recite the following prior to Kiddush:

Listeners to the Kiddush ought to answer Amen where indicated. See additional laws on pages 603-604.

Pour a portion of wine from the cup for distribution to the listeners, and, remaining seated, drink at least 2 ounces of the wine that remains.
Everyone present washes hands for the meal (see Laws on page 603), saying the proper blessing, taking care not to speak until after partaking of the challah. Holding both loaves, the head of the household recites the blessing for bread, and gives a piece to each person, who then recites the blessing over the bread.
