Ein Keiloheinu

None is like our God. None is like our master. None is like our sovereign. None is like our deliverer. Who is like our God? Who is like our master? Who is like our sovereign? Who is like our deliverer? Let us give thanks to our God. Let us give thanks to our master. Let us give thanks to our sovereign. Let us give thanks to our deliverer. Blessed be our God. Blessed be our master. Blessed be our sovereign. Blessed be our deliverer. You remain our God. You remain our master. You remain our sovereign. You remain our deliverer. You are the one unto whom our ancestors presented fragrant incense.

A Last Teaching

Rabbi Eleazar taught in Rabbi Hanina’s name: Those who study Torah increase peace in the world, as the prophet Isaiah declared: “Let Adonai teach all your children, and your children shall increase peace.” Read not the word as banayikh, “your children,” but as bonayikh, “your builders.” Great peace to those who love your Torah; may they not stumble. Peace be within your walls, and tranquility in your citadels. For my brothers’ and friends’ sake, pray for peace in your midst. For the sake of Adonai our God’s house, I seek your welfare. May God give strength to God’s people; may God give God’s people peace.
In certain congregations, the service proceeds with Kaddish D’Rabbanan, page 111.
