A Mystical Prayer at the Open Ark

English
Sovereign of the universe, may Your name and Your sovereignty be praised. Forever may You desire Your people Israel, and may Your liberating power be shown to them in Your sanctuary. With compassion accept our prayers and extend to us the goodness of Your light. May it be Your will to grant us well-being and long life; among the righteous may I be counted, and in Your compassion guard me, my family, and all the people Israel. You are the one who sustains and nourishes all life. You have dominion over rulers, You rule over all, for true sovereignty is Yours.

English
I am the Holy One’s servant, whom I revere and whose precious Torah I revere in every place and time. Not on angels, nor on mortals do I rely, but rather on the God of truth, the God of heaven, whose prophets are true and whose Torah is truth and who abounds in deeds of truth and goodness.
