How to read the transliterations

English
Adonai our God, from Egypt You redeemed us and from the house of bondage You freed us. You slayed their firstborn, You redeemed Your firstborn; You divided the sea, You submerged the wicked, You saved Your beloved. Their oppressors the waters engulfed; not one of them survived. Then they sang praises, extolling God for all that had taken place. Songs of thanksgiving, hymns of praise, and blessings the beloved people offered to the ever-living sovereign God, who is transcendent, powerful, and awe-inspiring, who humbles the haughty, lifts up the lowly, frees those in chains, redeems the poor, helps the weak, and answers God’s people when they cry out.
