English
Adulation they offer to God, whom they bless. Songs they chant and praise they voice to the sovereign, the enduring and living God. For God alone wins victory, makes creation new, masters war, sows righteousness, fosters deliverance, brings healing, is reverently praised, and authors wonders. Each day, in God’s goodness, creation’s work is made new, as the psalmist declared: “Thank the maker of the great lights, for God’s love is everlasting.” Let a new light shine upon Zion, and may we all soon merit its illumination. Barukh atah Adonai, creator of lights.
