CLEARING OF ḤAMETZ
Upon the night before Pesaḥ, a search for ḥametz, such as breadcrumbs, items containing leaven and grain alcohol, is carried out in the house. Custom is to search at night by candlelight, though a flashlight may also be used. Should Pesaḥ fall on Motza’ei Shabbat, the search takes place on Thursday night. Anyone intending to be away on Pesaḥ should search the night before leaving, yet omit the blessing. Prior to the search, recite this blessing:

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם
אֲשֶׁר קִדְּשָׁנוּ בְּמִצְוֹתָיו וְצִוָּנוּ עַל בִּעוּר חָמֵץ.
Israeli
baruch atah Adonai Eloheinu melech ha-olam
asher kidshanu b'mitzvotav vetzivanu al biur chametz.
After the search, recite:

כָּל חֲמִירָא וַחֲמִיעָא דְּאִכָּא בִרְשׁוּתִי, דְּלָא חֲמִתֵּהּ וּדְלָא בִעַרְתֵּהּ
לִבָּטִיל וְלֶהֱוֵי הֶפְקֵר כְּעַפְרָא דְאַרְעָא.
Israeli
kol chamira vachami-a de-ika virshuti, d'la chamiteh udla vi-arteh
libatil velehevei hefker ke-afra de-ara.
The next morning, after burning the ḥametz, recite:

כָּל חֲמִירָא וַחֲמִיעָא דְּאִכָּא בִרְשׁוּתִי, דַּחֲמִתֵּהּ וּדְלָא חֲמִתֵּהּ
דְּבִעַרְתֵּהּ וּדְלָא בִעַרְתֵּהּ, לִבָּטִיל וְלֶהֱוֵי הֶפְקֵר כְּעַפְרָא דְאַרְעָא.
Israeli
kol chamira vachami-a de-ika virshuti, dachamiteh udla chamiteh
d'vi-arteh udla vi-arteh, libatil velehevei hefker ke-afra de-ara.
עירוב תבשילין
Eiruv Tavshilin
Cooking for Shabbat is forbidden if Yom Tov occurs on Thursday or Friday, unless an Eiruv Tavshilin has been set before the Yom Tov. One does this by taking a loaf or bit of matza along with a boiled egg, or some cooked fish or meat meant for use on Shabbat. While holding them, recite the following:

b'dein eruva yehei shara lana lemeifa ulevashala ule-atmuna ule-adluka sh'raga
