FOR PROTECTION FROM THE EVIL EYE

The following prayer, based on Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Kaidanover's Kav HaYashar (Frankfurt, 1705), incorporates biblical verses as a segula (charm) for God's protection.

נֶגַע צָרַעַת כִּי תִהְיֶה בְּאָדָם וְהוּבָא אֶל־הַכֹּהֵן׃
Sephardi
Nega tzara'at ki tihyeh be'adam vehuva el-hakohen:

When the plague of tzara'at is found in a man, he shall be brought before the priest.
