Summary. MyJewishLearning (myjewishlearning.com) is the pluralistic Jewish encyclopedia and how-to. It covers every denomination's positions and practices side by side. Excellent for the New Jew who wants to understand how and handle the same question, or who needs a balanced introduction to a holiday, a ritual, or an idea. The site's tone is warm, accessible, and editorially careful. It is the best general-purpose Jewish website for a learner who is not yet committed to a specific denomination.

What It Does Well

Introductions to holidays, life-cycle events, and Jewish concepts — written for a non-expert audience.

Side-by-side denominational comparison on contested questions.

Curated learning paths (e.g., "How to study ", "How to find a synagogue").

Recipes, songs, blessings — practical content for a or holiday table.

News and commentary on contemporary Jewish life.

Editorial Slant

Pluralist; the editorial team is intentionally cross-denominational. The slant is generally American liberal in cultural sensibility but the content is sincerely attentive to Orthodox practice and thought. A New Jew can trust MyJewishLearning for an accurate, fair summary of how each denomination approaches a question.

Companion Sites

70 Faces Media (the parent organization) also runs JTA (Jewish Telegraphic Agency, the Jewish news service), Kveller (Jewish parenting), and Hey Alma (younger feminist Jewish content). The network covers a wide span of contemporary Jewish life.

Where Denominations Diverge

Genuinely pluralistic; serves all denominations.
