<english>Upon your days of Rosh Chodesh, the opening day of every month, you shall present a burnt-offering unto the Lord—two young bulls, one ram, and seven lambs that are under a year of age; they should be without blemish. One-tenth of an eifah of choice flour mingled with olive oil is to be brought as a flour-offering for every lamb. These shall constitute a burnt-offering and a fire-offering, presented to produce a pleasing aroma unto the Lord. Their wine offering shall run thus: a half a hin of wine per bull, a third of a hin unto the ram, and a quarter of a hin per lamb. <text>When the Jews transgressed through forming and worshiping the Golden Calf, God informed Moses that He would annihilate the Jewish Nation and would start a new nation from Moses himself. In the reading that follows, Moses intercedes for the Jewish Nation, and God, indeed, granted them pardon.
