<english>Here is a song fashioned for the choirmaster of the Levites, to be sung jointly with instruments in the Holy Temple. May God show us grace and bless us. May His countenance shine upon us and grant us success in all we undertake, forever. God, may You act thus to make people on earth know Your ways and know that You are gracious toward those who believe in You, and that all nations may learn that You save the Jewish Nation. When nations behold that You reward those who believe in You, God, they shall praise You. Every nation shall praise You. Peoples will rejoice and sing joyfully, because they shall grasp that You judge nations fairly and that You will aid and lead every nation on earth forever. Peoples will praise You, God, once they behold that You are gracious to everyone. All nations will praise You—for the earth has yielded its produce, and for every blessing that You, God, our God, will bless us.1 God will bless us owing to our trust in Him. All nations—even those in the farthest reaches of the earth—will fear Him. They shall grasp that only those who fear God are blessed.</english>

<text>1 The name of God used here, אלהים, describes God as He exists in nature, in a relatively concealed state. In the era of the ultimate Redemption, which this Psalm describes, God's blessings will be so powerful that they will need to be issued via His name "Elokim"—they will require concealment and "filtering" in order to come to fruition.</text>
