<english>The Lord chose His city Zion (Jerusalem). He desired the Temple in Jerusalem as His home. God chose the Children of Jacob as His nation—He chose the Children of Israel as His cherished treasure. The Lord will not abandon His people; He will not forsake His inheritance, the Jewish Nation. God is merciful and pardons our sins; He does not destroy us on their account. Many times He turns His anger away from us, and He does not arouse all of His anger. Save us, Lord; let the King of the universe respond to us on the day we call upon Him.</english>

<english>kindness toward them, and of Your righteousness they will sing to all. Gracious and merciful is the Lord, even toward those who have not earned it. He is slow to become angry and to punish those who refuse to heed Him; and He deals with them in abundant kindness if they turn back in repentance. Good is the Lord toward every living creature, and mercy He has on all His creations.
