<text>1 Literally, "from the world, until the world." God is "blessed" throughout the entire universe—from the hidden spiritual world on high, all the way down to the revealed physical world below. The Hebrew term for "blessed" (בָּרוּךְ) can also be translated as "drawn down." It is our task to draw down Godliness from the spiritual world until it is revealed in this physical world, "from the world, until the world," by refining ourselves and dedicating ourselves to God.</text>

<text>2 Whereas a human being must actively involve himself in order to create something, the creative power of God is so great that He simply needed to speak in order for the entire universe to come into being—as if by itself, without any active involvement. We therefore thank and praise God not only for creating the world, but also for the wondrous manner in which He did so.</text>
